Our Classes
General Gymnastics Classes (Ages 4+)
Our general gymnastics classes take place in our dedicated facility, located within the grounds of Ashlyns School, Berkhamsted. You'll find us between the Berko Astro and the Aspire Centre—just follow the signs for the Astro. Look out for the building with the large chimney. Parking is available in the car park opposite the Aspire Centre; from there, walk between the two buildings to reach us.

Our classes are designed to help children develop fundamental gymnastics skills while also building essential life skills such as balance, concentration, determination, and perseverance.

All gymnasts progress through our structured badge system, moving through Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced levels as their skills grow. You can view our full progression pathway on the [Progression Tree] (link).

Classes run from 4pm on weekday afternoons and from 10am on Saturdays. All sessions are mixed-age and ability, ensuring every child feels included and supported in their journey.

Pre-School Classes (Ages 3–5)
Our pre-school classes are the perfect place to start
We run fun, structured sessions for children aged 3 to 5 years on weekday evenings from 4pm and Saturday mornings from 9am, all held at Ashlyns School in the same building as our main gym classes.
Led by our friendly and experienced coaches, these sessions are designed to help little ones build confidence, independence, and a love for movement—all in a safe, supportive environment. Children attend the sessions on their own, which gently encourages them to take their first steps toward independent learning and play.

Our pre-schoolers have their own dedicated space, complete with specially designed equipment just for them. This setup helps them stay focused, feel comfortable, and develop the foundational skills they need. When they’re ready, we help them transition into our main gym with confidence and excitement.

Semi-Structured Gymnastics (Ages 4+)
We believe gymnastics should be accessible and enjoyable for everyone.

Our semi-structured sessions are specially designed for children aged 4 and over who may benefit from a more flexible and supportive environment.
With smaller group sizes and a less formal structure, these sessions provide a safe and inclusive space for children with additional needs to explore and enjoy gymnastics at their own pace.

Held every Wednesday at 4pm at our Ashlyns School facility, this dedicated class allows individuals to engage with a variety of gymnastics equipment, supported by our experienced and understanding coaches.

Gymnastics offers a wide range of benefits, including physical, sensory, and motor development, as well as supporting social and emotional growth. Our aim is to build confidence and skills in a positive environment, with the ultimate goal of integrating children into our structured classes with their peers—when they feel ready.
Watching Week
As we don’t have a designated viewing gallery, we invite parents and carers to join us during Watching Week—held in the final week of the Easter, Summer, and Christmas terms.
This is a great opportunity to see your child in action, celebrate their progress, and experience the fun and energy of their gymnastics class in a safe and welcoming environment.
Watching Week dates are shared in advance via email, our termly newsletters, the Facebook page, and on the noticeboard just outside our main entrance.
