MEMBERSHIP AND FEES
Taster sessions & waiting lists
We offer a taster session which allows the children to sample one class without parents/guardians having to commit to a full term's fees.
The Club Administrator allocates a trial space and payment is at the time of booking. (Taster session fees - 1hr after-school classes = £9.00 / 45min pre-school classes = £7.15.)
Unfortunately the taster session fee cannot be carried over if a child is unable to attend, and the child remains on the waiting list.
Upon arriving at the trial session, parents MUST fill out an enrolment form.
If the child would like to continue for the remainder of the term, the remaining full term’s pre-paid fees MUST be paid within three days of the trial date. (Trial fee is deducted from the full term’s fees, which are pro-rata depending on the start date.)
All classes are payable in advance on a termly basis (e.g. Summer Term (April-July) = 12wk term = £96.00 per child for a 1hr class).
1 hour classes @ £8.00 (after-school or Munchkins class)
45min classes @ £6.00 (pre-school)
Individual members attending 2 x 1hr classes per week receive a 10% discount off the full term’s fee.
We offer a sibling discount, which is applied to the family member with the lowest fees.
Notices are personalised and issued the week after half term of each term. To confirm a place, a re-enrolment slip must be completed at time of payment.
Payment can be made any time after the half term or during re-enrolment week (three weeks before the current term ends), however must be made before the closing date. If a child is absent when notices are issued it will be retained & handed out the following week.
If fees are not paid during re-enrolment week we will automatically assume that your child no longer requires their space and the space will be reassigned.
Payment of class fees can be made by debit or credit card (on site or by phone).
Please contact the club during re-enrolment week or before if you have any issues/questions regarding re-enrolment. A member of our admin team is present each evening during re-enrolment week, or available during the day via email or telephone.
British Gymnastics Annual Membership (includes insurance).
£13 per year for U5s, £19 per year for ages 5+.
All BGC members MUST hold a valid British Gymnastics membership to participate in classes within our facility.
Membership runs 1st September to 31st August, may be pro-rata depending on joining date, in line with British Gymnastics policy.
ECGA Membership (Eastern Counties Gymnastics Association)
£2.50 per year for all BGC members. A 0.50p admin charge is included to process the ECGA membership fee.
Berkhamsted Gymnastics Club Annual Membership
£15.00 per year for all.
Membership runs from 1st January to 31st December, pro-rata depending on joining date and is payable annually along with the Spring Term fees.

One last thing - Gift Aid
As Berkhamsted Gymnastics Club is a registered Charity (Charity No. 267968), we are able to claim Gift Aid.
We kindly ask parents to fill out the Gift Aid form upon joining BGC, as this allows us to claim the Gift Aid. This is at no extra cost to our members.
