ABOUT OUR CLASSES

Our classes are a great place to make new friends in a fun, safe environment. Children learn a variety of skills to aid them in any sport they may wish to take up in the future – although we hope they continue with gymnastics, of course.

Our classes help improving fitness, fundamentals, coordination, body control, confidence, self-esteem, listening skills and cognitive learning.

We pride ourselves in providing safe, fun and challenging classes for both boys and girls from 4 to 15 years of age.

Everyone is encouraged to participate in our annual recreational club championships. It’s a brilliant way for children to show family members what they have learned, with lots of medals and ribbons to be won, with the emphasis on fun and taking part.

After School

Our main after school classes take place at our facility in the grounds of Ashlyns School in Berkhamsted. You can find us opposite Berko Astro and the Paul Beard Centre.  We offer classes for boys and girls from 4-15 years old.

Our after school classes focus on developing gymnastics skills while also developing balance, concentration, determination and perseverance.

Gymnasts progress through our badge system as they develop their gymnastics ability and graduate through our novice, Intermediate and advanced classes.  Classes run from 4pm every weekday afternoon.

Toddlers and Preschool

As soon as a child can walk they are ready for gymnastics. Our preschool site at Gossom’s End in Berkhamsted specifically caters for the little ones with low-level apparatus, accessible toilets and baby changing facilities.

There’s parking on site with additional on-street parking nearby. Toddler and preschool classes generally take place on weekdays.

Let's Play: Non-structured, Stay and play, drop-in session (NO BOOKING REQUIRED), for children crawling age - rising school.

Me and You: Structured Parent & Toddler session (BOOKING REQUIRED), for children from 18mths - 3yrs.

Mini Munchkins: Structured independent coach-lead sessions (BOOKING REQUIRED), for 3 and 4yr olds

MEMBERSHIP & FEES

Taster sessions & waiting lists

We offer a taster session so children can sample one class without parents/guardians having to commit to a full term's fees.

The Club Administrator allocates a trial space and payment is at the time of booking. Taster session fees are as follows:1hr after-school classes = £9.00 / 45min pre-school classes = £7.15. The taster session fee cannot be carried over if a child is unable to attend, and the child remains on the waiting list.

Upon arriving at the trial session, parents MUST fill out an enrolment form.

If the child would like to continue for the remainder of the term, the remaining full term’s pre-paid fees MUST be paid within three days of the trial date.  (Trial fee is deducted from the full term’s fees, which are pro-rata depending on the start date.)

Class fees

All classes are payable in advance on a termly basis (number of weeks in a term x weekly class fee).

  • 1 hour classes @ £8.00 (after school or Munchkins class)

  • 45min classes @ £6.00 (preschool class)

Individual members attending 2 x 1hr classes per week receive a 10% discount off the full term’s fee.

We offer a sibling discount, which is applied to the family member with the lowest fees.

Re-enrolment

Notices are personalised and issued the week after half term of each term. To confirm a place, a re-enrolment slip must be completed at time of payment.

Payment can be made any time after the half term or during re-enrolment week (three weeks before the current term ends), and must be made before the closing date. If a child is absent when notices are issued it will be handed out the following week.

If fees are not paid during re-enrolment week we will automatically resassign the space to someone on the waiting list.

Payment of class fees can be made by debit or credit card (on site or by phone). A member of our admin team is present each evening during re-enrolment week, or available during the day via email or telephone.
